Food for Thought: Washington Post launches paid iPad app

While their main smart phone app has been free since last year, today the Washington Post launched a paid iPad app for in depth politics coverage and commentary. While the app itself is free to download, it contains premium content for which everybody – even print subscribers – must pay $2.99 a month. Non-premium content is supported by banner ads on the screen.
